RonJonSurfer
Music Festival Must Pay Ted Nugent $100,000 Rocker Ted Nugent has won a case against a Michigan music festival. A Michigan jury found that festival organizers breached their contract with the 56-year-old rock star and that the Muskegon Summer Celebration must pay Nugent $100,000 in damages. The singer claims his reputation and career were damaged by the cancellation of a 2003 concert at the event, WOOD-TV in Grand Rapids reported. That concert was canceled after Nugent used a racial slur during a radio interview. Nugent admitted using the word, but he testified Tuesday it was in the context of quoting an African-American musician who was complimenting him.
