RonJonSurfer Posted March 25, 2005 Report Share Posted March 25, 2005 Richie Sambora Caught Up in Theme Song Battle Bon Jovi star Richie Sambora is at the center of a new legal battle over a TV theme song. The rocker's longtime collaborator Thomas Maralda claims he's owed credit and royalties from the theme song to the showbiz news show The Insider -because he helped Sambora write it. But, in the credits of the program, Sambora and Luke Ebbin are named as the songwriters. Now, Maralda has filed suit against the show's producers, demanding they pull the theme song until he gets the credit, royalties and court costs. Sambora was unavailable for comment.
