have just come out to play

and all those hard rock anthems

have come to meet the day

Songs that tell a story

would like to have shot

the boy band generation

has finally come to a screeching stop

Hippies and their tunes

will start to flood the streets

Songs that have strong messages

yearn to have a world that's nice and neat

Bands of today and yesterday

will all go down as one

As music moves to the horizon,

towards the setting sun.

This is just about how I think music is taking a turn, either for the better or worse. Maybe an end to a generation of music...I'm not really sure actually...
