Dierdre Wynne Posted March 25, 2005 Report Share Posted March 25, 2005 Idlewild is a wonderful band.. they're my favorite. 100 Broken Windows is great, but after that, they released a singles album thats called Love Steals Us From Lonliness and recently just released the full album version, Warnings/Promises. They sound like The Smiths..? Well I have all The Smiths cds and most of Idlewild.. but I never thought they sounded similar. "Warnings/Promises" is their 4 album I think,I also have "The Remote Part" album,plan on getting their others eventually too,that album is from 2003 and it's got the hit that really made them more well known "You held the world in your hands" amazing band! been compared to a scottish REM,I've seen them play live at the Tsunami benefit gig at the SECC in Glasgow! man that gig rocked!
