Is there going to be a March update? I submitted a whole bunch of songs with lots of facts for each one and I was hoping to see them show up pretty soon. Carl Posted March 9, 2005 Report Share Posted March 9, 2005 Here's the dizzle: A few months ago, we moved to a new server. It's a better machine, but the method of uploading the database is quite tedious. It takes about 6 hours and lots of steps, so we've been doing it only about once a month. Because of the continued popularity of this site, we had to move to yet another server, but we own this one and can set it to make updates much easier. We'll probably need another month or two to get the new server tested and online, but we'll start doing the regular updates then. I know the lack of updates is frustrating to those who contribute, but I can assure you that every entry is reviewed and processed. Once we get past some of these technical challenges, we'll be able to focus more on songwriter interviews and other pleasant stuff. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
