RubberSoul
I loved Santana's version of Jorge Drewler's "Al Otro Lado del Rio". Does anyone know if this is on wax? Where can I purchase it? Thanks! RubberSoul
edna
I found this site... www.votolatino.com.ar... only it´s in spanish so I don´t know how you could download it, though it seems it´s in the web... I guess you will be able to buy it very soon, but I´ll keep on checking.

RubberSoul
I thought I he did mad justice to the song personally.
Tenacious_Peaches
I was pleasantly surprised...although I couldn't figure out why the dude who sang it didn't perform it...he sang it when he accepted the Oscar. RUBBER SOUL! Where the %$^& have you been, man? ::

RubberSoul
I agree, I think Drexler should have gotten the honor of performing his own song. I'm sure the corporate image network pubas said otherwise. Damnit. Tenacious!! How's it been hangin'? I fell off the planet for a bit, back in action though. edna
I don´t like Antonio Banderas... he was cute twenty years ago but now he´s so macho man... I saw him singing while Santana played guitar (well, I saw them for three seconds...)
DJ Kat WQAQ98.1
what did people think of antonio banderas singing ? I love Antonio's singing. I have a tape from Andre Loyld Webber's birthday celebration and he sings a bunch of songs from Evita, Phantom, and a new play. It is amazing to watch. I thought the Counting Crow did good. BUt I could have done without three songs by Beyonce. Although the duet she did with Josh Groban was amazing. I love that man.
Malakin
Am I the only one that thought it was utter bunk? Sounded unrehearsed, and Carlos was just sort of noodling along, playing notes in the same range as what Antonio was singing.. What he was doing had no structure to it, just random notes.. invisible_r
yeah see thats why i asked, i wasnt sure what to make of it. i cant really say i particularly liked the way he sang it, there was something odd about it.

Malakin I agree with the unrehearsed noodling along, but that's what I think was groovy about it... was just a mellow raw jam session.
