You'd be the only one if it was Jefferson Starship ::

"We built this city of rock 'n roooooll"

Oh, actually, Jefferson Starship have some records that I really love: "Dragonfly" and "Spitfire"... Pappa John Creach is awesome...

But yes, there you´re right, coz Jefferson Airplane are BIG.

I´ll look for a nice Grace Slick picture and put it as my avatar.

Wow, this was harder than I thought. It's difficult for me to classify some of my favorites because many of them are diverse artists, IMO. I got some help from allmusic - I did genres and then styles, trying to put everyone in the "best" category without crossing over too much:

Blues

Texas Blues: Stevie Ray Vaughan, "Gatemouth" Brown

Chicago Blues: Muddy Waters, Buddy Guy

Delta Blues: John Lee Hooker, Robert Johnson, Muddy Waters

Blues/Rock: Clapton, Hendrix

Contemporary Blues: Susan Tedeschi, Keb Mo, Jonny Lang

Rock

Hard Rock: Guns N Roses, Led Zeppelin, Neil Young, Hendrix

Southern Rock:Black Crowes, Lynyrd Skynyrd

British Invasion: Beatles, Stones,Clapton

Country

Outlaw Country: Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Hank Jr.

Traditional Country: Patsy Cline, Johnny Cash

Country Rock: Eagles, Grateful Dead, Cross Canandian Ragweed
