See Bill Murray play him in "Where The Buffalo Roam" with unique soundtrack including unusual work from Neil Young. Sandra Dee, movie star, singer and former wife of Bobby Darin died at age 63. Thompson, the renowned American journalist and novelist who wrote "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas," fatally shot himself at his Colorado home on Sunday night, police said. He was 67. "We do have confirmation that Hunter Thompson was found dead this evening of an apparent self-inflicted wound," said Tricia Louthis, spokeswoman for the Pitkin County Sheriff's Office.
