February Update

[Carl]

We uploaded a bunch of new songs a few days ago. We'll have more info in the newsletter, but here are some highlights:

They're Coming To Take Me Away - A very interesting and strange story that Jerry Samuels (better known as Napoleon XIV) shared with us.

Rise - Randy Badazz Alpert gave us the story on this song he wrote for Herb Alpert.

Waterloo Sunset - I can't believe it took us this long to get info on this Kink's Klassic.

There's a lot more, including great info on Eric Carmen, Rush and George Harrision.

I'm happy to see that my Lynyrd Skynyrd artistfacts got in this update. But where are the song lyrics that I submitted?

[Carl]

Song lyrics can be added on the page with the Songfacts. Near the album, it will say "view lyrics" or "submit lyrics." If it says "submit lyrics," click it to add them.

The lyrics I submitted were for songs that haven't been listed yet. Like the fact that there are no Charlie Daniels Band songs listed... very upsetting...

[Foxy]

I tried looking for Hazel O'Connor a few days back!

She's nowhere to be seen!! ::

Hey Carl! What's the best way to get a song added to the massive list that is known as "Songfacts"? Should we submit some actual facts about the song along with the lyrics?

[Carl]

Yes, we need to enter Songfacts for a song before lyrics can be added to it. That's what separates us from all those lyric sites.

[Karhul]

My first request, Breaking the Girl by the Red Hot Chili Peppers still hasn't been put up, and that was ages ago!!!. Please help me!!!.

[Sara]

Unfortunately, we get so many requests that we can't research them. We depend on other people to submit facts for songs on the requested list. Sorry, Karhul, there just haven't been any submissions for your song.

In fact, we recently took down the request feature because it was causing problems with site function, so it's not really an issue anymore.
