chris19109
I need to know the name of a song. I believe it is an older rock or metal song. The beginning 30 - 45 seconds of the song is nothing but guns firing and helecoptor and planes flying and then it starts this great rock instrumental. It was on one of the album in the early 90s that had a collection of different songs on it. Does this ring a bell?
GeeterMcgee
The only song that comes to mind is by Aldo Nova, and I'll be danged if I can remember the title to it. Hope it sparks more memory in your brain matter than it did mine? Hopefully this is what your looking for, and is the artist your looking for? I'll post if I can remember the song, or if someone pushes the right buttons to make me reckolect.
Catherine
I think Geeter is right; it sounds like Aldo Nova's "Fantasy", which came off his debut album in 1982. So forget all that you see It's not reality It's just a fantasy Can't you see What this crazy life is doing to me Life is just a fantasy Can you live this fantasy life

Catherine
It was an amazing tune! Aldo Nova was a bit of a one hit one with 'Fantasy'. He did 'Ball and Chain', which was nice, but 'Fantasy' got a lot of air play.

In fact, I recently downloaded it off of Itunes! ::
