You got me (so far) on this one Laurie! Pink Floyd's ONLY #1 was "Another Brick In The Wall" (PART TWO), Ray Stevens' two #1s were "Everything Is Beautiful" and "The Streak" - I don't think it has Part 1 or Part 2?, and the Stones only 1969 Chart Hit was "Honky Tonk Women" #1.

Our old Microwave expired last night, so I've just been haggling with Salespeople (when I could finally get the Telephone***) I got it down from $259 to $205, so my Wife, daughter ***, and grandchildren wanted to go for a drive and get it. I'll bet they spend that $54 I saved too.

jr, WHAT is Music 101???

jr and The Jets! Street Talkin' Man (or is that Sweet Talkin' Man)? Thanks jr.

MUSICAL INTERLUDE (with deference to Sammy)

It is the evening of the day

I sit and watch the children play

Smiling faces I can see

But not for me

I sit and watch

As tears go by

My riches can't buy everything

I want to hear the children sing

All I hear is the sound

Of rain falling on the ground

I sit and watch

As tears go by

It is the evening of the day

I sit and watch the children play

Doin' things I used to do

They think are new

I sit and watch

As tears go by

What a simple, but beautiful song.

Hi Bazooka. While our daughter and grandchildren are here, my grandaughter sleeps in a foldout divan in my office, which is where the computer is. She just got up from her nap.

Maybe they all have stars on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame?

Otherwise I have NO idea, and I won't Google, so here's some guesses.

They were all:

+ child actors/actress ?

++ suffered some degree of hearing loss?

+++ resided in the UK at the same time?
