What weird lyrics! "Abra abra cadabra, I wanna reach out and grabya"

I love these lyrics ;)

""You make me laugh, you make me cry

Keep me burnin' for your love

With the touch of a velvet glove

Abra-abra-cadabra

I want to reach out and grab ya

Abra-abra-cadabra

Abracadabra

I feel the magic in your caress

I feel magic when I touch your dress

Silk and satin, leather and lace

Black panties with an angel's face ""

Hi Shana. No, I WOULDN'T leave them out on purpose. They weren't just a great Band, they were all individually very talented musicians (especially Jimmy Page), and were all in demand for session work before LZ. John Paul Jones also produced many fine songs for other artists.

BEST ONE-LINER

"and just where is your car parked now?" miamisammy, obviously concerned for the safety of another Songfacts member's vehicle (who had just told us that he kept almost his entire CD collection in his car).

I would like to add to my own list of ultimate bassists:

6. Tom Petersson (Cheap Trick - "the inventor of the 12-string bass guitar")

7. John Paul Jones (Led Zep)

8. Geddy Lee (Rush)

9. Paul Mccartney (The Beatles)

10. Roger Waters (Pink Floyd)

11. Boz Burrell (Bad Co./King Crimson)

I think I've finally given the bass guitarists the recognition they so rightfully deserve. Without the bass player, that rock 'n' roll thunder's just not there. Rock on, boys!!

The Greatest Canadian Rock Bands:

Neil Young (With Crazy Horse)

Lighthouse

The Guess Who

BTO

Triumph

Steppenwolf (I consider Steppenwolf a Canadian band even though lead singer John Kay is from the former East Germany. Most band members were Canadian and they formed and began recording in Toronto)
