Musical Interlude:

Hey, man, I've been framed

Aw, really man, I've been framed

I never do nothing wrong

But every time I get the blame

He couldn't have been serious, could he?

He makes Rolf Harris sound like a Classical Singer.

It's a catchy song which you can't help singing along with, but I think it's really an insult to Australians/ Italians/ Italo-Aussies (of whom I have MANY Good Friends).

(Sort of like an Australian "Achy Breaky Heart").

Ooh! Ooh! I know the answer to this question!

How many points do I get if I get it correct? =:P

Old55,

Let me introduce myself. I sorta introduced myself once before when you came back from vacation, but for some reason you thought it was Sammy pulling a fast one on you.

How many points do I get for figuring that out?

(How about that, Sammy. You got him without even trying.)

I'm just another NEPA guy who loves to joke around and have fun (just like Sammy), with one exception... I'm better looking! ::

Just kidding. We're both NEPA boys, but I've never met him.

I'm 41, divorced, and I live with my 18 yr. old daughter, who by the way, says she's moving out as soon as she finds a job.

Somebody stop me already before I fall off my chair.

I listen to, read about, and research all types of music for fun and I love music facts and trivia. Oh, and I love anagrams if you haven't already heard.

I've been having so much fun playing and joking around and meeting everyone on this site. I Love It!! :coolio:

I read through all the old posts while you were on vacation and I couldn't wait until you came back to play your game. It's a big hit with everyone, including me. :D

Now that you know me, let's get on with the game, shall we? :happybanana:

Musical Interlude: (which Sammy holds the copyright to) used with permission.

Play, play the game tonight

Can you tell me if it's wrong or right

It is worth the time, is it worth the price

Do you see yourself in a white spotlight

Then play the game tonight

NEW QUESTION

Please listen carefully! What do these 3 1970s Songs have in common?

Montego Bay (Bobby Bloom)

The Killing Of Georgie (Rod Stewart)

Clair (Gilbert O'Sullivan)

:stars:

They all feature steel drums? Nah, that can't be it.

PS: FYI...NEPA=North Eastern Pennsylvania. YW!

I meant to put more questions on last night, but I went to bed early - couldn't sleep, and I finished up sleeping in. Before I reveal the WINNER (ta da) I'd like to make some observations:

* I'm still not sure if BradMan's secret idenity is really Sammy, e.g. -

* How can you read "gay" into Clair, Sammy?

* How can you read "incest" into those songs Brad?

::

Also, I won't frame any questions about people's sexuality.

I might try my hand at whittling a Dickie later, although a Bird might be a bit advanced for me, Uncle.

............................................................

"Please listen carefully!" was the clue. Elvish did, and you thought right Mum :coolio: CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU :) :) "They all have whistling in them" is the answer.

Old55,

I read these lyrics from "Clair" and figured they were getting it on.

Musical Interlude:

But why in spite of our age difference do I cry

Each time I leave you I feel I could die

Nothing means more to me than hearing you say

I'm going to marry you

Will you marry me Uncle Ray?

Oh! Clair, Clair

Then I read these lyrics from "Montego Bay" and I thought he was using 'rum' and 'silver tray' as a euphamism for "you know what" when he said he was thirsty. I figured he was getting it on with his brother.

Musical Interlude:

'N' Gillian'll meet me like a brother would

I think I remember but it's twice as good

Like how cool the rum is from his silver tray

I thirst to be thirsty in Montego Bay

I know it sounds sick, but hey, "whatever flavor you favor".

The Killing Of Georgie was about a homosexual boy who left home and I figured maybe that's where he picked up that lifestyle in the first place. I don't know. ::

I have no idea where Sammy got his ideas from, but I'd like to hear them.

Brad, you are VERY incisive. On reading your post, it certainly WAS a valid answer - although I don't frame any questions about "Taboo" subjects. I've never picked up on this before:

"Nothing means more to me than hearing you say

I'm going to marry you

Will you marry me Uncle Ray?"

My apologies to you ! :googly:
