MrP
The day dedicated to letting that someone special know that they're special is just around the corner. With this in mind what do you think are the best songs to do this with??? Two of my favorites are "Fire" and "Slow Hand" by the Pointer Sisters. I know they're a little old but they're both 2 of my favorites. So now let me hear some of your suggestions. MrP :happybanana:

Uncle Joe
Well said!! Oh yeah, right. But just try ignoring her on that day. Then she can tell the girls at the office that her man treats her special every day "except Valentine's Day". That'll play out well.

BTW, in "Wonderful Tonight" they go out to a party, he gets so wasted he can't drive home, she has to put him to bed and just before he passes out for the night he says, "You were wonderful tonight"....that Eric is a charmer. :guitar:

katie_sane
I'm sorry but I've got inject some Kiss and Led Zeppelin in here... Forever- Kiss (Foxy, im surprised you didnt say this :: hahaha) Thank You- Led Zeppelin P.S I hate Valentines... I'm sorry, but 'Forever' is one of the worst KISS songs ever, and if this was played to me on Valentine's Day I would kick the bloke in the teeth. Songs that I suppose would be okay on Valentine's Day (because they are on any other day) would be: *God Only Knows by The Beach Boys *Stand By Me by John Lennon and almost anything by Bread

XXX
I'm gonna post here so I don't forget later on. I think this is a song I've been searching for a couple of years now. "Missing You" by Diana Ross Since you?ve been away I?ve been down and lonely Since you?ve been away I?ve been thinking of you Trying to understand The reason you left me What were you going through? I?m missing you Tell me why the road turns Ooh ooh I?m missing you Tell me why the road turns As I look around I see things that remind me Just to see you smile Made my heart fill with joy I?ll still recall All those dreams we shared together Where did you run to, boy? I?m missing you Tell me why the road turns Ooh ooh I?m missing you Tell me why the road turns Sometimes I?ve wondered I didn?t understand Just where you were trying to go Only you knew the plan And I tried to be there But you wouldn?t let me in But now you?ve gone away boy I feel so broken hearted I knew the day we started That we were meant to be If only you?d let me! I?ve cried so many tears Gotta face now all my fears We let time slip away I need you boy Here today! There was so much you gave me To my heart To my soul There was so much of your dreams That were never told You had so much hope For a brighter day Why were you my flower Plucked away I?m missing you Tell me why the road turns Ooh ooh I?m missing you Tell me why the road turns
