I was reading The Ultimate Woodstock and thought we should make one for 2005, only bands who are still around/new.

I've seen several icantations of KISS through the years, starting with the original lineup in 77 or so, and ending with the same lineup in around 2000, I think.

I wouldn't go see them now, though. It's one thing to replace members. Alot of bands do that. But to put on the makeup of former members. That's just wrong.

I think you should spare a thought for those of us who weren't around in 1977 or were too young to attend a KISS concert pre 1990's. It isn't my fault that I had the misfortune of being born in 1984. I saw KISS in May last year, and they rocked. It never felt wrong, only right!

It's one thing to replace members. Alot of bands do that. But to put on the makeup of former members. That's just wrong.

Why is it okay to replace a band member at a particular instrument, but not as a particular "character"? Kiss (the corporation) has the patent on the character, not Ace or Peter. I, for one, am slightly dissappointed with your thought process in this instance. Don't forsake them for such a piddling grievance. They still kick a$$! :bow: :bow:
