Elvish
One of my favorites: I'd Die Without You by P.M. Dawn Is it my turn to wish you were lying here I tend to dream you when I'm not sleeping Is it my turn to fictionalize my world Or even imagine your emotions to tell myself anything Is it my turn to hold you by your hands Tell you I love you and you not hear me Is it my turn to totally understand To watch you walk out of my life and not do a damn thing If I have to give away The feeling that I feel If I have to sacrifice Oh, whatever babe, whatever baby If I have to take apart All that I am Is there anything that I would not do, 'Cause inside I'd die without you Oh, I apologize for all the things I've done But now I'm underwater and I'm drowning Is it my turn to be the one to cry Isn't it amazing how some things just completely turn around So take every little piece of my heart So take every little piece of my soul So take every little piece of my mind 'Cause if you're gone... inside I'd die without you
edna
Great site, Jr! Wish I knew it some time ago... Amy is absolutelly right, "Total eclipse of the heart" is THE song for this case. Bonnie Tyler has also "It´s a heartache" which is the other THE song... I have a tape I call "The Divorces Tape": I have Shangri-llas "Past, Present, Future", Cars "Drive", Bonnie Tyler "It´s a heartache", "Seasons in the sun" by Terry Jacks, "Without you" by harry Nilsson, "Everything I own" by Bread, "Breaking up is hard to do" by Neil sedaka, etc. I also have the morning tapes with cheer-up songs to face the new day... good luck and welcome to songfacts. edna
And does the hubby know about this arsenal of songs? Sure! But he prefers Jethro Tull or Uriah Heep... One of my favorites: I'd Die Without You by P.M. Dawn I remember P.M.Dawn used to do music with bits of other songs, sampling... I didn´t know this one... They are funny people, I met them once and they were so stoned or sleepy... I asked them if they were feeling alright and one of them said "Strange, everybody asks the same question..." :sleepy: :sleepy: :sleepy:

The Devil
Suicidal Tendencies has a song called "How will I Laugh Tomarrow When I Can't Even Smile Today?". Perfect. Or S.O.D. has a song called "Kill Yourself". Now that's the ticket.
