16pac
16pac is back with its new album « Endless Work In Progress ». You can discover it on http://www.16pac.com. What Download.com says: Sporting a Portishead meets Morr Music kind of vibe, 16PAC combines heroin-chic poetry and vocal seduction with superbly crafted low-end melodies and glitchy, skeletal beats. Emotionally provocative and instantly accessible, 16PAC is the folk music of the fiber-optic generation. See you. edna
Let´s hope you won´t... I mean, getting shot! I like what you do, c´est très bon. It reminded me a bit of French music of the 80s, which I like a lot. Why "16pac"? I´m curious...
16pac
Happy to hear that you like it. 16pac is a long story, but to make it short, it was an acronym (?) of the address I was leaving in few years ago in Paris. It was there that the group was born and first recorded.
edna
I like the Elli&Jacno slight touch... I don´t know much about nowadays French music (I should, I´m French too), I guess I lost track in the early 90s...

16pac
Hello all, 16pac is a french electro pop band based in Paris. They've just published their new album "Endless Work In Progress". Their style is a mix of Bjork vocals and beats with Neil Young style folk music. Sometime sound like Portishead or Lali Puna. They've got very nice reviews recently and they're now available on ITunes. Feel free to discover their music on their website www.16pac.com or on (Myspace. They offer this nice free mp3 of their song Mad Clown for you to discover their music : Mad Clown. Here is an example of nice reviews: Past All Concerns (December 2006): Endless Work In Progress describes and helps us understand feelings that other musics can only attempt to reach; one feels less alone while listening to it and finds comfort, and (often...) cries; and this music has to be respected and admired, in silence... Subba-Cultcha (August 2006): A voice that’s rich, soft, full of an emotional grace and emotionless poise when required. It has the breathless, floating jazz folk sound of Solid Air period John Marytyn minus the roughened edges. A wonderful sound, just searching for the songs to devastate you… Connection Bizarre (July 2006): The songs and melodies are highly catchy, very well written, avoid the clichés of modern pop music and especially the electronic elements are well done. Take care and keep on listening to good music. François http://www.16pac.com Edited May 4, 2007 by Guest
