Addictedtoclassic
Wish You Were Here is one of my favorite Pink Floyd songs... If I have to hear the Korn version of Another Brick In The Wall I think I'm going to shoot someone. That is the most horrible thing I've ever heard. Danielj
I can definetly see David Bowie doing a lot of songs from Syd era. Space Oddity even sounds a bit Floydish.
edna
I can definetly see David Bowie doing a lot of songs from Syd era. Space Oddity even sounds a bit Floydish. I always though Bowie got much of his inspiration on... Lennon and Barret! Pin-ups is an awesome album...

vincegillstwin
Scissor Sister (Take Your Mama Out from a few months ago) did a techno remake of Comfortably Numb. Not really worth the price of the album.
Aunt_Acid
Oh yeah, forgot about them. Scissor Sisters definitely have some interesting music. I really liked some of their songs. Kind of Elton Johnish.

skankHAYWIRE
mushroomhead (another korn-esque nu-metal group, but much better IMHO) did a short cover of empty spaces on their album XX. Of course we can't forget the cover of have a cigar by the foo fighters with brian may behind the proverbial helm. and a very little known one, in fact i forget the name of the band. An industrial group form germany or austria did a freakin great cover of wecome ot the machine, if i remember, i will reply with their name
skankHAYWIRE
here's a list of other bands that have done pink floyd covers: pearl jam, wyclef jean, love and rockets, bruce springsteen, marilyn manson, radiohead, dave matthews band, phish, primus, velvet revolver, system of a down, tool, blind melon (with pearl jam), smashing pumpkins, and the austin lounge lizards(did a bluegrass version of manic depression that is funny as h3ll)
bazooka
An excellent place to check for cover versions of songs by well-known artists is the Covers Project. Here's their listing for Pink Floyd (<). The lists are made up of submissions by visitors, and sometimes contain some pretty obvious errors, but the site is at work correcting that situation.
