Aunt_Acid Posted January 3, 2005 Report Posted January 3, 2005 oh duh the saddest non-love song of them all Wish you Were Here-Pink Floyd You know, I never found Wish You Were Here to be that sad. Probably the saddest of all Floyd songs is Hey You. Mother being a close second.
evan33594 Posted January 3, 2005 Report Posted January 3, 2005 the end-the doors, very depressing (sad)
_jr_ Posted January 4, 2005 Report Posted January 4, 2005 Chimpie, that gets my vote as well. Springsteen conveys a lot of pain and hopelessness in that one. Great choice.
evan33594 Posted January 4, 2005 Report Posted January 4, 2005 rocky raccoon-the beatles a bob dylan spoof but still a great song
Aunt_Acid Posted January 4, 2005 Report Posted January 4, 2005 Another sad Springsteen song is Lost In The Flood. And I said hey kid you think that's oil? Man, that's not oil that's blood. I wonder what he was thinkin when he hit that storm Or was he just lost in the flood
Laura04166 Posted January 9, 2005 Report Posted January 9, 2005 The saddest song, I would have to say is "He's My Son" by Mark Schultz. It's written from a dad's perspective about his son that gets cancer or something to that effect and how he watches his son and his family deal with it. Very sad song but very good, and it's based on a true story.
