Maud
Good, another one; I don't know the title or the artist, I just know what I'm hearing and I like it. I can't find it anywhere on the net, so could somebody help me? It's driving me crazy.. chorus: "and as he falls he'll see this light tries to reach, it's too [bleep] bright and as he falls he'll see this light, will he reach?" other verses; "downer, downer, down is climbing up him.." The rest I can't really understand.. Please help me??

Maud
Hmmzz, maybe some more information? It's sung by two persons, one is a girl definitely: she sings the chorus. The song starts with only a guitar and a muffled voice. Which sounds a little like an old person, but it isn't. It sounds a tiny, little bit like Eels. Damn, this is frustrating.. When I let my friends listen to this song, nobody knows it and I have no title and no artist..
Earth-Angel
Maud, are those the exact lyrics, or what you vaguely remember? I can't seem to find any exact matches using any of those words :: Perhaps more about the song...is it a rock ballad, pop song, slow song? When I first read the lyrics I thought it might be a song by Bright Eyes, but they don't have a female vocalist. Perhaps it is something by Evanesence? _jr_
Lady Godiva was a freedom rider, she didn't care of the whole world looked. Joan of Arc, with the lord to guide her, she was a sister who really cooked. Isadora was a first bra burner Aint' ya glad she showed up? And when the country was falling apart Betsy Ross got it all sewed up And then there's Maude And then there's Maude And then there's Maude And then there's Maude And then there's Maude And then there's Maude And then there's that old compromisin, enterprisin' anything but traqulizin' Right on Maude!!! I truly apologize for that, but I wasn't going to sleep until I got it out. Welcome to Songfacts, Maud.
Maud
Well, I'm sure these are the right lyrics.. It's some sort of a soft-nu-metal song. Reminds me a little bit of Krezip, qua style. Hey, Jrownsdega, I actually liked it... )
