Does it mention in any of those articles the time criteria for induction to the R & R Hall Of Fame? It's generally 25 years after an Artist/ Group's first "recognized" recording. I'd take that to mean Led Zeppelin's self-titled first Album which was released in 1968, rather than their Hit single, "Whole Lotta Love" in late 69. As your list shows they were inducted not long after they were eligible. U2 will be eligible next year, all you Bono fans, and also Def Leppard.
