Queen reunites with Paul Rodgers on vocals

According to Brian May of Queen, the band is reuniting to tour the UK with Paul Rodgers of Free and Bad Company. If it goes well a European Tour and World tour will follow.

May said he was playing with Rodgers at a Fender Guitar 50th Anniversary Gig and it was all to obvious that the chemistry was there.

George Michaels did some vocals with the band during the Freddie Mercury Tribute era and he wasn't bad. I think Paul

Rodgers is a better fit and he has a magnificent voice.

Word on the radio today is that Paul Rodgers will not be joining Queen in this project. That's too bad if true. I was looking forward to this "reunion".

Queen is my all time favorite...i wonder how Paul Rodgers will do?

IMO Paul Rodgers will be MUCH better than GM - although I am very biased because I can't stand GM (if I were king of the universe for a day I would decree that all GM and Wham music be destroyed).... should be interesting to see what kind of arrangements they do to some of the more operatic tunes in their catalog to fit Paul's vocal range. I would guess they will emphasize the bluesier aspect of Queen's music - especially since PR has been immersed in rootsy blues for the last decade.
