Need Title to Songs For A Buried Treasure Game

Hello! I was hoping someone might be able to help me out here. I am involved in a Buried Treasure Game and there are a few song titles that I need to find from the lyrics (hints) given. I'll give you the lyrics and if you know the titles and would let me know, it sure would be appreciated!

#1. There's a man I know, who's got a heart so full of joy, it can make you fly, there's a man I know, who's got a heart so full of pain, it can make you cry...

#2. The joke's on me, I thought that I knew it all, but one look at you and, I feel myself falling, I'm finally melting, it's happening fast, you've broken the ice and now, you'll be the last for a long, long, time, a long, long, time...

#3. Tropical paradise, but the beauty escapes me, everything should be so right, for falling in love, two hearts belong, where one heart remains, so unhappy, nothing else matters to me, no nothing at all...

Anyone have any "clues", lol?

Thank you so much,

Jessica

Oh, well...thank you both for your time, anyways! I'll just keep searching...

Oh, by the way, I don't condone cheating, either, though there is no "cheating" in this game. It's as simple as getting hints and finding the answers. You are allowed to find the answers in any way that is available to you, and that includes asking others for any knowledge they might have that they are willing to share.

I've come across many other participants of the Game by going to boards (which is how I, and many others, found out about it in the first place) and asking for any help/suggestions that might be offered. It's not a test, it's a game!

:)

Maybe not what you're looking for but while I'm here a couple of songs about buried treasure.

Crosby, Pevar and Raymond's Map of Buried Treasure:

I found a map to buried treasure

I found it deep within your smile

I think that now that I have found it

I will study it

I wear your allegiance like a cloak of trust

Wrapped around the heart of me

And no conditions were discussed

When we joined forces helplessly

Falling inward we were linked by chain

Across the length of rolling sea

Welded by laughter and sealed in pain

Floating love has rescued me

It's trust that holds it anchored

It's the trust takes years to build

Without it there is nothing

Just emptiness unfulfilled

Brick by brick you know we built it up

Built a house to hold a dream

A shape that's rising from the rubble

Where the shaking death had been

I found a map to buried treasure

I found it deep within your smile

I think that now that I have found it

I will study it for a while

No sticks and stones can hurt us

Nor the liars or the thieves

We'll use the stones to ring our garden

And the sticks to gather up the leaves

Brick by brick you know we built it up

Built a house to hold a dream

A shape that's rising from the rubble

Where the shaking death had been

I found a map to buried treasure

I found it deep within your smile

I think that now that I have found it

I will study it

[instrumental (Piano)]

I found a map to buried treasure

I found it deep within your smile

I think that now that I have found it

I will study it a while

I found a map to buried treasure Aaah ...

I found it deep within your smile Aaah ...

I think that now that I have found it Aaah ...

I will study it ... for a while

Mmm, mmm, mmm ...

Also, Kenny Rogers' Buried Treasure.

Sounds like a call for Jimmy!

A Pirate Looks At 40

Mother, mother ocean, I have heard you call

Wanted to sail upon your waters since I was three feet tall

You?ve seen it all, you?ve seen it all

Watched the men who rode you switch from sail to steam

In your belly you can hold the treasures few have ever seen

Most of ?em dreams, most of ?em dreams

Yes, I am a pirate, two hundred years too late

The cannons don?t thunder, there?s nothin? to plunder

I?m an over-forty victim of fate

Arriving too late, arriving too late

But I?ve done a bit of smugglin?, I?ve run my share of grass

Made enough money to buy miami, but I pissed it away so fast

Never meant to last, never meant to last

I have been drunk now for over two weeks,

Passed out and I rallied and I sprung a few leaks

But I?ve got stop wishin?, got to go fishin?

I?m down to rock bottom again

Just a few friends, just a few friends

Nice to see all of our friends every year. thank you

Friends.

Now I go for younger women, lived with several awhile

Though I ran ?em away, they?d come back one day

And I still could manage a smile

Sure takes a while, just takes a while

Mother, mother ocean, after all my years I?ve found

Occupational hazard being my occupation?s just not around

Feel like I?ve drowned, but I won?t wear a frown

Feel like I?ve drowned, I?m gonna go check out

Peachtree street somewhere downtown

Hello mrmonkey! I hope you are still around! It's been months since I posted about the Buried Treasure Game, and have not been back since.

I did not know anyone else from the Game had been here until a friend told me about your reply just tonight. He sure has a good memory! I guess that's how he found me (through my post) and we teamed up together to work on the Game.

Anyways, if you are still around, (it looks like that was your one and only post, so maybe not, but I hope so) please reply. I will check back again soon.

Maybe we can still help eachother out. I still need #7 on the song chapter after all this time... :stars:

Thanks!

JM
