TERRIMEOW Posted December 8, 2004 Report Posted December 8, 2004 ON THE NINE LIVES AEROSMITH TOUR THEY OPENED EVERY CONCERT WITH A SONG BY A FEMALE BAND. IT STARTED WITH THE WORDS "YOU SUCK" I BELIEVE AND I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE BEAT BUT DO NOT KNOW THE NAME OF THE BAND OR THE NAME OF THE SONG! ANY AEROHEADS OUT THERE WHO WENT ON THAT TOUR? THANKS!!
Earth-Angel Posted December 8, 2004 Report Posted December 8, 2004 I read that there was a Boston opening act called Marry me Jane. Their album Tick was one of Steven's best for 1997. Perhaps it was them? Here is some more info.
TERRIMEOW Posted December 8, 2004 Author Report Posted December 8, 2004 I answered my own question! It was driving me nuts but I remembered the name. The band is called The Yeastie Girls and the song really is called "You Suck". Now where can I find a recording of it? Any ideas? Thanks everyone.
_jr_ Posted December 8, 2004 Report Posted December 8, 2004 I saw that tour. It was Four Non-Blondes.
Earth-Angel Posted December 8, 2004 Report Posted December 8, 2004 The Yeastie Girls were the next option
_jr_ Posted December 8, 2004 Report Posted December 8, 2004 You know what? It was their Eat The Rich tour that 4-nons opened for them. My mistake. Age has a way of juxtapositioning the years..... we need an old fogie graemlin.
TERRIMEOW Posted December 8, 2004 Author Report Posted December 8, 2004 yes, It was the Eat the Rich Tour. Awesome, wasn't it?? I think it was their best!!!
Earth-Angel Posted December 8, 2004 Report Posted December 8, 2004 I danced my first slow dance to 4 non blondes "what's up".
_jr_ Posted December 8, 2004 Report Posted December 8, 2004 It was loud, it was smoky, and there were waaayyy too many people there. It was my 11th and last Aerosmith concert.
TERRIMEOW Posted December 8, 2004 Author Report Posted December 8, 2004 loud, smoky and way too many people? Isn't that a concert?
_jr_ Posted December 8, 2004 Report Posted December 8, 2004 It was. :laughing:Somewhere along the way, , though I began wanting to just go and sit and enjoy the music.
MuzikTyme Posted December 8, 2004 Report Posted December 8, 2004 loud, smoky and way too many people? Isn't that a concert? Funny stuff. I've always wanted to be able to pick a band and music hall while being the only one in audience. Dream on.
