Addictedtoclassic
It is a grand state to live in. So much like Canada except not quite as clean (in the cities that is) and we don't speak French Canadian. But you can always take a weekend vacation and come to the Minnesota State Fair and see Lynyrd Skynyrd along with whomever else will be playing. You can also go to a Twins game and a Vikings practice. Or you can visit the Renaissance Festival. Or you can go to Valley Fair (amusement park), Canterbury Downs (horse racing), Mystic Lake (casino), or even the Mall Of America. The last two weeks in August has soooooooooooooooo many things going on at one time, a weekend just isn't enough.

Addictedtoclassic
That would be nowhere near International Falls. The Twin Cities is in the East-Central part of the state. We're about 6 hours from International Falls.
