Apparently Cerys Matthews (formerly of Catatonia) has covered this, in a duet with Tom Jones. I think it featured onhis "Reload" album. I've heard this, but I don't remember any hiccuping. Cerys did have a reputation for her alcohol consumption; might be relevant?
