_Laurie_ Posted October 14, 2005 Report Posted October 14, 2005 Maybe you have to have large post to be promoted
Batman Posted October 14, 2005 Report Posted October 14, 2005 I like being an octopus, because I'm in the company of great albums such as this one
_Laurie_ Posted October 14, 2005 Report Posted October 14, 2005 Yeah Batman, and we have a cool song too! Lyrics for: Octopus's Garden I'd like to be under the sea In an octopus's garden in the shade He'd let us in, knows where we've been In his octopus's garden in the shade I'd ask my friends to come and see An octopus's garden with me I'd like to be under the sea In an octopus's garden in the shade We would be warm below the storm In our little hideaway beneath the waves Resting our head on the sea bed In an octopus's garden near a cave We would sing and dance around Because we know we can't be found I'd like to be under the sea In an octopus's garden in the shade We would shout and swim about The coral that lies beneath the waves (Lies beneath the ocean waves) Oh what joy for every girl and boy Knowing they're happy and they're safe (Happy and they're safe) We would be so happy you and me No one there to tell us what to do I'd like to be under the sea In an octopus's garden with you In an octopus's garden with you In an octopus's garden with you
Crazy Don Posted October 14, 2005 Report Posted October 14, 2005 I'm still a jellyfish even after surpassing 1,000 posts!

RonJonSurfer Posted October 14, 2005 Report Posted October 14, 2005 Until you are kissed by Sammy , JR , or RonJon ... ( stay a frog ! ) Kiss all three and there is a special bonus level you may attain...ask Edna and Laurie about it.
Batman Posted October 15, 2005 Report Posted October 15, 2005 I'm supposed to be a Dolphin at the moment, but I don't really care.
Elvish Posted October 15, 2005 Report Posted October 15, 2005 Hey, what's the hub-bub? Don't you people know that evolution is just a theory?
Kevin Posted October 15, 2005 Report Posted October 15, 2005 Hey, what's the hub-bub? Don't you people know that evolution is just a theory? Do you mean ,then , that Carl ( the creator ) designates us according to mood and whim ?
Shawna Posted October 15, 2005 Report Posted October 15, 2005 Once a sea cow, always a sea cow. I like my bovine status. Now when Brad calls me a cow, I know he's only referring to SF. Hahaha
_Laurie_ Posted October 15, 2005 Report Posted October 15, 2005 (edited) Okay...I've got my wine that I bought at the vineyard I visited the other day, but It has a cork!...I cant get the darn thing out.... maybe this should be in random thoughts? Edited October 15, 2005 by Guest
Elvish Posted October 15, 2005 Report Posted October 15, 2005 That sucks, Laurie. I have three corkscrews! Want me to email you one? Actually, I'll hop on the Lear and see you in couple hours (if you're willing to share, that is)
_Laurie_ Posted October 15, 2005 Report Posted October 15, 2005 I'm always willing to share!.....I've finally got it...I found a better corkscrew to use
_jr_ Posted October 15, 2005 Report Posted October 15, 2005 Okay...I've got my wine that I bought at the vineyard I visited the other day, but It has a cork!...I cant get the darn thing out.... maybe this should be in random thoughts? I have always found that simply pushing the cork all the way into the bottle solves the problem.
_Laurie_ Posted October 15, 2005 Report Posted October 15, 2005 I've done that before jr....oh jr! how the heck are ya?
RonJonSurfer Posted October 15, 2005 Report Posted October 15, 2005 I've found smashing the neck of the bottle against a table and drinking from the jagged edge works too.
RonJonSurfer Posted October 15, 2005 Report Posted October 15, 2005 If the small pieces of glass and the bloody lips don't bother you...it is very effective.
_jr_ Posted October 15, 2005 Report Posted October 15, 2005 Actually, I was never a wine drinker, in my betrunken days. (where is that girl, anyway?) I never drank wine unless I knew I had at least a gallon of it. That way, I'd be sure and catch a buzz. Plus, the gallon jugs always had a handle, for easier transportation.
Elvish Posted October 15, 2005 Report Posted October 15, 2005 I love wine - the cheaper the better! Actually, I have had little to no interest in drinking since becoming a mommy. It's nice to have a glass or a long neck with a meal from time to time, but I haven't been betrunken since the Cardinal game I went to last July.
Lucky Posted October 15, 2005 Report Posted October 15, 2005 Okay...I've got my wine that I bought at the vineyard I visited the other day, but It has a cork!...I cant get the darn thing out.... maybe this should be in random thoughts? Laurie, didn't we just discuss this the other night?? You can use a large screw. I've done that too. Course that was when I had such things around the house! Done the push it through thing plenty too!
