Otokichi Posted January 28 Report Posted January 28 (edited) I found a video appreciation of Toshiro Mifune on YouTube yesterday, which is absolutely fascinating. I was looking at a video about an Imperial Japanese Army utility aircraft, when I noticed a question about Toshiro Mifune's World War II service. I found something else, far more interesting than that video. Press PLAY if you want to find out details about Toshiro Mifune's early life in China and his subsequent discovery as a "new face" actor. Toshiro Mifune has been called the "John Wayne of Japan," but Marion Morrison didn't serve in World War II.;) Here's "The man every action movie hero is copying" video. (Turned DOWN "Star Wars"!?)
