I just cut and paste.

This is like heroin for me.

Tragic. An addict not concerned with the quality of the product. ( I can't believe I'm gonna use one of these > :: )

Little Richard was born in 1932 according to this site and this one.

But the really cool news comes from this Little Richard site : "BBC4 will broadcast a Tutti Frutti radio special for the 50th anniversary of the song on December 7 at 13:30 GMT. The program will be available in the web, too."

Now, I'll have to research how 13:30 GMT translates to my local time and where to find this on the web.

??? Something doesn't add up here.

1932 IS his birth year. Quite a few older artists put their Y.O.B. forward at times. He's probably the Greatest "Old Rocker" still alive. One of the 10 performers to be first inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame in 1986.

Angel's mentioned it, but December 6, 1969 : The Stones At Altamont! The Rolling Stones intended this free concert at the California racetrack, four months after the success of Woodstock, to be a goodwill gesture. 18 year old Meredith Hunter was stabbed to death and many others injured by the "security". Great way to end the dreams of peace and love espoused by the flower children of the 60s. I hope you youngsters who wanted to be around THEN read this and live for today. :(

It´s funny they released "Gimme Shelter", the movie of the Altamont Concert, exactly one year later... You can see perfectly how M.Hunter is stabbed and how Keith Richards refuses to keep on playing if the Hell´s Angels (which had been hired as security!!) don´t stop messing with the audience... "That guy there...!" An excellent film. You can also see Mick and other Stones viewing the scene after the concert... not glad at all...
