Shannon31656 Posted December 6, 2004 Report Posted December 6, 2004 I know which song ou mean! And I've been trying to find it all over the internet, but i can't find it anywhere either! I've asked a Turkish DJ about it,, but he didn't know what I meant. I have the same problema as you, don't know the lyrics either, don't know the language :: HELP!
Mairi Posted December 6, 2004 Report Posted December 6, 2004 ya know that part in the wisard of oz when Dorothy is trapped in the witches lair-y type thing and Scarecrow, etc are trying to save her and they see the funny guards with hats like the Queen's guards? they were singing "ooh eee oooh, e ooooooh oh" and doing a funky little dance. maybe that's it.
Kiana Posted December 6, 2004 Author Report Posted December 6, 2004 No, that's not the song, because the song I'm looking for is rather new.. But thanks anyway!
DJ Midegi Posted December 11, 2004 Report Posted December 11, 2004 @Kiana I do some dance class and there are dance parties on Saturdays, where this song is played sometimes. I will ask the DJ next time, when I don´t forget to do it.
Gsharp10 Posted December 12, 2004 Report Posted December 12, 2004 Daylight come and I got to go home!
BlueShifter Posted December 13, 2004 Report Posted December 13, 2004 By any chance was the song a vocal version of "Tequila"? "Tequila" by The Champs in 1958 is an instrumental featuring a funky sax burping out a rhythm that could conceivably be vocalized as your "eo oh oh oh eo oh". The only spoken word in the whole song is "Tequila!" It was featured in a Pee Wee Herman movie, Pee Wee's Big Adventure, I think. That was about what 10 or 15 years ago?

No, I don't think that's the song. They only sing "Tequila" once or maybe twice in the song. And I believe it's very new. But thanks anyway! I wish I could sing it to you, hehe, because i kind of know the lyrics in the refrain. But unfortunatly I can't make any words out of it..
Shannon31656 Posted December 15, 2004 Report Posted December 15, 2004 Yeah, could you please ask the dj? You'd make me (and Kiana) very very happy! I don't know the lyrics either, I just know the melody of the chorus ::

Maria Marquez (2013) There's also this extended version by Russian Percussion band, Sambateria."Canto Del Pilon" - Sambateria The song is a Venezuela folk song from long ago. There have been many versions from different artists throughout the years.
