Earth-Angel
Heya, I posted a link in the random thoughts forum - but seeing as no one actually knows too much about them before today - here's a link to a really interesting site! Don't be put off if you can't figure out how to play the game, it's fun learning how to complete each stage and listening to the AWESOME music by the Polyphonic Spree :: While each situation presents us with many obstacles, we humans find ways around them and persevere. The unknown, while uncomfortable at times, provides us with the most satisfying rewards after the day is done. Together we are heavy is in stores new! www.questfortherest.com If you can't work it out, have a look at their homepage too: www.thepolyphonicspree.com
Aunt_Acid
They are already one of my favorite bands. That song in the forest scene is amazing. I love the french horn part. Dude, I'm buying their album. Man, thanks so much for introducing me to these guys. By the way, I still think you should put you back as your avatar. Earth-Angel
Suitcase Calling is the song in the forest scene and it too is my favourite that I've heard! The song when you complete the mission is cool too - called Hold me now. I'm seriously considering getting their album too ::
Aunt_Acid
Man. 25 members! What band has a theremin player!? It's cool enough that these guys are a good modern band, but to be a revolution in music? Wow, I never thought I would live to see another amazing band. Polyphonic Spree proved me wrong. THey were the final performance, and i watched the awards show again just so i could see the performance again, and i made everyone else around me watch it too...lol. Danielj
Yeah I did see that, and the lead singer was in the air and was like moving in sync with the music. Marilyn Manson introduced them and said: There is 25 people in this band. it's like the white D12!
Jillianne
Oh God, they are not that good...My Da has their album, kinda disapointing
Flibble12345
I'd never really heard much of the Polyphonic Spree, but as I type they are performing their version of Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band live on tele. In my humble opinion... Better than the Beatles Version. Maybe it's just the sheer energy or the loud costumes but damn that was cool
Earth-Angel
hehe I see you too are in front of the telly.. Yeah, it was quite a fun rendition, but not a touch on the Beatles. But cool in a different way!
Flibble12345
Yeah but I never was a Beatles fan... Over-rated... Ok I've probably just alienated myself from over half the people here :: No offence meant people
Aunt_Acid
Get the hell off of these boards. I don't ever want to see you again. Actually, I do think the Beatles are overrated. Are the Polyphonic Spree a European band?

MindCrime
This new & upcoming symphonic rock 22 member group puts on a really good show. They started off as "Tripping Daisy" early in the 90's, then upgraded their sound with a complete reformat at the turn.
MindCrime
I caught one of their live performances this morning on a DirectTV exclusive music channel "The 101". It's worth seeing, if you have access to this.
