Mairi Posted November 3, 2004 Report Share Posted November 3, 2004 ok, i'm gonna make this into a game, someone try and guess what song this song/poem is about.(wrote it 2 months ago) Rewind back to first hearing far too young to make sense The words are a wave, capturing Heard but not understood fastforward, now i sit and listen tentively Waiting for an answer, the question unknown gone is my ignorance here is my sensitivity Feeling the way i did that day when i understood the words i gave my life away today when i finally realised The words only mean as much as you do When you are helpless and as i felt the tears cascade gently down my cheeks The dirt washed away, My feelings astray but the song still plays on Pause, breathe in, breathe out finally realising how deep it is to fall into doubt not heard but understood Stop, now i'm going way too fast sick of always trying to make it last and replicate the emotion repeat italics then repeat bold Rewind, Fastforward, pause, stop trying to skip the part that makes me feel like im not Alone So alone repeat bold then repeat italics The song plays the same The only thing that does change is me....... and now repeat (by the way, the last line sometimes makes no sense to me if i read it wrong, just to let you know im not saying that repeat changes. the way i write is confusing sometimes.)
