Batman Posted October 29, 2004 Report Posted October 29, 2004 I'm sure this has been done before. So, I would say (in his lifetime) Jimi Hendrix. Some of the ones made after his death weren't so good. Flogging Molly. So far only one album I think. Give em a listen! Nirvana - IMO at least :happybanana:

_Annabelle_ Posted October 29, 2004 Report Posted October 29, 2004 The Beatles, in my opinion... :happybanana:
Addictedtoclassic Posted October 29, 2004 Report Posted October 29, 2004 Definitely the Beatles... The original Lynyrd Skynyrd (prior to Ronnie & Steve's death) made great albums filled with some of the greatest songs.
behindblueeyez Posted October 29, 2004 Report Posted October 29, 2004 The Who:bow: Simon and Garfunkel :: Keith Moon--wait, he only had one... and I've never heard a bad Pink Floyd album, but haven't heard them all...
AliceNchains Posted October 29, 2004 Report Posted October 29, 2004 1) The Beatles 2) John Lennon 3) The Smashing Pumpkins 4) Alice In Chains

CaptainMikeRS Posted October 29, 2004 Report Posted October 29, 2004 In my opinion: Rush Journey Don Henley (only has 5 counting greatest hits)
XXX Posted October 30, 2004 Report Posted October 30, 2004 Journey jumped the shark when they ditched Steve Perry and even if Steve Augueri sounds like Perry, there's just something missing from the songs. Bands that never made a bad album? Try these: Roxy Music/Bryan Ferry Japan Kent Chris Isaak NewOrder The Durutti Column
Earth-Angel Posted October 30, 2004 Report Posted October 30, 2004 Definitely Kent! Whether in Swedish or English, they give me goosebumps!
XXX Posted October 30, 2004 Report Posted October 30, 2004 I know. It's pretty sweet. I'd also say that maybe Suede could fit that category even if their last album failed to pick up where Head Music left off. Hey, all you classic rockers, how come noone has mentioned Steely Dan?? Seriously, I'd think the'd be prime juicy album cuts for all you folks
_jr_ Posted October 30, 2004 Report Posted October 30, 2004 Journey jumped the shark when they ditched Steve Perry and even if Steve Augueri sounds like Perry, there's just something missing from the songs. Augueri hits the notes, okay...but he doesn't sing them. That's what's missing.
edna Posted October 30, 2004 Report Posted October 30, 2004 The Beatles, in my opinion... :happybanana: The rest is silence... :happybanana: :happybanana: :happybanana: :happybanana: :happybanana:
windy1 Posted October 30, 2004 Report Posted October 30, 2004 Ooohh, I so agree with Journey, the Steve Perry era. Creedance is definately there and you know I have to say the Stones, even what a lot of people say were bad albums I thought were good.
Jillianne Posted October 30, 2004 Report Posted October 30, 2004 The Manic Street Preachers :guitar: :happybanana:

Aunt_Acid Posted October 30, 2004 Report Posted October 30, 2004 I'm sure everyone is expecting me to say this, but.. Pink Floyd.
XXX Posted October 31, 2004 Report Posted October 31, 2004 Ooohh, I so agree with Journey, the Steve Perry era. Creedance is definately there and you know I have to say the Stones, even what a lot of people say were bad albums I thought were good. Yeah, once they cut a Disco album I could forget about ever listening to the Stones and Rod Stewart and all those buffoons who sold out their artistic integrity to make a quick buck on a trend better done by others like Moroder, Nile Rodgers, and Cerrone, not to mention all the Italo-Disco artists.
Uncle Joe Posted October 31, 2004 Report Posted October 31, 2004 Steely Dan Renaissance Moody Blues Emerson, Lake and Palmer Cream
Carl Posted October 31, 2004 Report Posted October 31, 2004 How about The Police. 5 albums, ranging from very good (Regatta De Blanc) to great (Synchronicity).
