The soldiers are griping about another drill. Three are late coming back from leave. Target practice is cut short, followed by timed "in the field bicycle tire repair." This is a bicycle-borne group of Danish soldiers in the Spring of 1940. The officers await orders from higher ups, while nervously monitoring reports from border stations. Are the Germans coming or is this more posturing? Then a border station is cut off in mid-sentence.
