I've experienced similar problems in the past, mostly in a later time. I can relate, I was wrong part of the time, she was to blame the other times. You think you completely knew someone, & then wake up realizing they were never fully there to begin with. It's a sticky situation that can never be fully recovered. Time to move on. Nice touch by the way.
