"This country has helped define me and make my dreams come true," said Carrey, 42, in a statement. Nevertheless the star of films like "The Mask," "Bruce Almighty" and the upcoming "Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events," professed his pride at being born a Canadian.
