bazooka
bazooka, here's a Bo Diddley just for you Thanks bluesboy! I was in high school and college in the San Francisco Bay Area during the late 60s and early 70s, and went to many shows at those venues [Avalon Ballroom, (original) Fillmore Auditorium, Fillmore West, Winterland ]. The early Quicksilver (Messenger Service) is one of my all-time favorites. I've never seen Bo Diddley live, though, unfortunately.

Aunt_Acid
The early Pink Floyd was good. I have an UmmaGumma poster haging on the wall in my bedroom. Another one I have that I can't find a picture of is the Chicago poster from VIII, where they are all piled into a woody station wagon and there is a policeman beside them. XXX
This is a reprint that I've had my eye on for a couple of days. I just don't have the cashflow at the moment to give myself the luxury of owning this fine piece of music trash: I might buy it on impulse later on

bazooka
I remember this John Mayall show (also Mother Earth, and the New York Rock And Roll Ensemble). Mayall and Jon Mark & Johnny Almond played stuff from the "Turning Point" album, before it was released. And we talked to Mayall outside after the show (Well, actually, my friend said "Great Show!" to him, and Mayall replied "Thank you" before he got into a neat old limo). Elvish
Bluesboy, those are some awesome Dead posters. They do have some intricate and beautiful designs - wish I could wallpaper my room with them! I have these two; the first is a blacklight poster. These two I just wish i had! :: I have that last design on a t-shirt.

bazooka
The poster is not exactly a work of art, but a pretty solid "Caravan of Stars". Bo Diddley should have top billing.

bazooka
For a time, the surrealistic collage work of artist David Singer dominated the posters for Fillmore West and other Bill Graham venues. Various examples from 1969 & 1970.
