_jr_
I remember being estatic when I finally had the drums in the intro down to where I could play it without thinking. Practiced it for weeks.
Jimmy1104
I still own the original 45 single as well as the album. Both records that I own are the gold vinyl albums which were limited copies. For those who do not own the album I highly recommend the purchase. Songs like Creepin', Black Licorice and Stop Looking Back are all great songs. I am going to guess that Grand Funk's other number one song was The Locomotion which is on the Shinin' On album. One other album I would highly recommend from Grand Funk is Phoenix. Not as popular as their other albums but surely great! Lastly, if you can pick up their live album Caught In The Act you will find that it is one of the best live albums you will ever hear. It is my second favorite after Deep Purple's Made in Japan. Grand Funk has always been my favorite American band.
Aunt_Acid
The only album I have by them is Phoenix, but I haven't really listened to it. I have heard it on a tape while I was mowing the lawn.

Aunt_Acid
Had me fooled, I thought this was going to be about Darkside Those were my thoughts when I came in here too. But didn't Darkside actually come out in '72?
