PSYCHOcatholic Posted September 27, 2004 Report Share Posted September 27, 2004 Well....it was our annual Big Spring Jam here this weekend in Huntsville, Alabama....YAY!! It was pretty cool. Basically its about 6 different stages setup around our downtown Big Spring Park....All different kinds of music. Oldies...Classic Rock...Country...Christian...Rock...and a Misc stage...I started out Friday with: The Deltones George Clinton and the Parliment Funk The Turtles .38 Special Then Saturday: I missed Gary Pucket....DARN! lol, i saw Switchfoot and Lynyrd Skynyrd I have to say Skynyrd did an AWESOME job!!! They had a tribute to Soldiers and to Mr. Lynyrd Skynyrd himself Ronnie Van Zant All the hicks and rebels were a'hootin and hollerin and crying when they did the tribute. They played Simple Man while home videos of Zant played in the background. It was and amazing thing. They didnt play Freebird all that well though. But they played most of the good stuff. Today...Sunday for those somewhere else. I saw Olivia Newton John....Morris Day and the Time.... THREE DOG NIGHT!!! The Time was AWESOME!! MY JUNGLE LOVE!! The food there is expensive but awesome too, its everywhere. Along with the beer....and when you get a drunk hick to Skynyrd Concert...the possibilities are drastic.
