Techmoan has unleashed the first of a two part look at JVC and Thorn-EMI's attempt to bring digital audio and video to the world. 1982 was supposed to be the year when VHD was going to march over Philips' Laser Disk system, but a little thing called the CD derailed the first part of the revolution.
