Mike
My son made me watch this yesterday, to my reluctancy, he assured me is was good, and previously petitioned heavily to get his mother to purchase it after seeing once at a friends. Mom gave in of course (it was, after-all only $10.00) - To my surprise I was actually impressed. (after having seen Eddie Murphy's Haunted house or whatever is was called -that was not so hot in my opinion) and the soundtrack was pretty good too, Takin' Care Of Business - Bachman Turner Overdrive, I Wanna Be Sedated - The Ramones, Dream Weaver - Gary Wright, Surrender - Cheap Trick. Not a bad flick. Decent family flick which is usually reserved for Disney Co. Directed by Steve Carr (Dr. Doolittle 2) I'm thinking Carr and Murphy might be a winning combo. Murphy comes off very well in the two films they've done together, which is all Murphy's done well lately other that playing a good ass. :: That's my report sir!! MindCrime
I agree, it was pretty funny & well thought out for a movie that's targeted at a young audience. It also stars the funny Steve Zahn, who I've never seen do a bad movie. A good film for the whole family, that doesn't necessarily always follow traditional moral values.
