Jugband_Blues
If you could only listen to one cd mixed with any songs you like for the rest of your life, what would the songs be? remember that CD's cant be over 80 minutes, so im not talking iPods or mp3 players here. this is tough seeing all my favorite songs are on the long side. hmm.... Aunt_Acid
I would probably start off with something nice and introductory, like Breathe. Then move on to a little stress creating song to get me in the right mood and make me feel the mix. How about On The Run? And then we'd go with something a little funky and more lively, something like Time. And then for a change of mood, we would throw in a beatiful, slow, yet meaningful song, say, Great Gig In The Sky. And then I'd need after that, something to bring the mood back up and something to rock out to, I think Money would be perfect for that. Then I'd need to relax from the rocking and mull over some philosophy, so I would probably put on something like Us and Them. Then I'd want to go into something that would be sort of like a median between the funk and the slow, Any Colour You Like. Then I would want a little climax buildup, deep thought, and trippiness all at the same time, so I would throw Brain Damage in there. And then I would have to end with the greatest song of all time, Eclipse. That would be my ultimate mix album.

DiggsUK
It is a hard one, I agree. When I made tapes (remember them?), I made them to suit a mood. I had happy tapes, rocking tapes, soothing tapes, reflective tapes and of course the old favourite - the feeling sorry for yourself, depressive, why does nobody understand tape. To capture all these emotions on one CD would be difficult. A bit like a journey (no, not that 'Journey' thank you) through life I reckon. If I get the time I will compile a list, but it may take more time than I have. Good luck to anybody who manages it though. Regards

MindCrime
I just barely beat the time limit, & had to omit several of my favorites. Led Zeppelin - Stairway to Heaven 8:00 Rolling Stones - Sympathy for the Devil 6:27 Doors - Riders in the Storm 7:15 Lynyrd Skynyrd - Tuesday's Gone 4:17 The Eagles - Desperado 4:13 Tom Petty - You Got Lucky 3:36 The Beatles - Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds 3:28 U2 - Until the End of the World 4:38 Pink Floyd - Learning to Fly 4:50 Rush - Subdivisions 5:32 Queensrÿche - Suite Sister Mary 10:39 Guns N' Roses - November Rain 8:57 Metallica - Fade to Black 6:57 Nine Inch Nails - Pinion [used as filler] 1:02 Total Time : 79 minutes, 58 seconds
