Otokichi Posted May 9, 2017 Report Posted May 9, 2017 I ran into a Songfacts article about Trucker/Truck driving songs on Facebook. After listening to Taj Mahal's "Six Days On The Road," I remembered a singer-songwriter who "took to the road" between gigs to keep his family fed. It's not an "On The Road Again" significant song, but Experience rings through this short song about a driver on the road to Baltimore.;) (What, Baltimore isn't on other "trucker song" destinations?)
Carl Posted May 10, 2017 Report Posted May 10, 2017 That's fantastic. Also love that album cover - with the sweater and corduroy pants, he his marked as a married man We've been working on trucker songs lately. Started a category for them: http://www.songfacts.com/category-trucking_songs.php
