The 75th anniversary of the December 7, 1941 attack on Pearl Harbor is in the books. (After all, it's a downer subject for Christmas 2016, and The Donald "don't want no bad news.") This circa-1942 recording summed up Japan's sneak attack on the U.S. Pacific fleet in neat Blues fashion. I'd been looking for The Peter Moon Band's version of Leo Anderson Akana's lament for Pearl Harbor shipyard workers, but this one is better. So, To-Ra/To-Ra/To-Ra to you as you swoop in the mall to attack your bank balance and unsuspecting gift recipients.;)
