RonJonSurfer
OK, it's a blizzard. They've changed projections around here to 24-30 inches of snow. I'm just outside of New York City, so expect to hear about major problems in the Big Apple.Right now I've got power, food and booze...I'm good. edna
Part of my family had to go back to Boston today, from Madrid, but they delayed the flight due to the wind. So I can enjoy my 3 years old Bostonian nephew three more days... Glad it's not that big as they said it would be and hope everybody's OK.
_Laurie_
This one missed us, but I'm sure we will get hit with one sometime this year. Hope all my friends on the coast stay safe and warm!
chutzpah
I have lots of family all around NYC, Long Island and northern New Jersey. (southern NJ too) Just snow flurries here tonight, but it's cold. Last night -10. Last year at this time I had 13 feet of snow so I'm not going to say a word. Ron has the right idea about dealing with this stuff. I just hope everyone is safe and warm.
RonJonSurfer
We ended up with about 24 inches of snow with lot's of drifting to well over 3 feet. The shoveling is done and the ibuprofen helped.
Jenny
We ended up with a foot of snow after an initial prediction of 1-3 inches....thank goodness neither of us had to go to work the next day, and when I had to go Sunday, the snow was powdery, so cleaning up wasn't so bad. Next week, they predict warm weather and rain, so this snow will go bye-bye
Carl
This barely touched us in central CT, but we're getting a little today.
RonJonSurfer
We had that same kind of storm yesterday too. Most of it melted already.
