Motley Crue will be saying farewell to fans with more North American cities as part of their farewell trek, The Final Tour. The glam-metal rockers have added 21 new concerts to their itinerary that are scheduled to take place in October and December, and run from an October 5 show in Hidalgo, Texas, through a December 27 concert in Las Vegas.

“The demand to add more shows in North America has been overwhelming,” says bassist Nikki Sixx in a statement. “We want to say goodbye to as many fans as possible so we added these shows around the holidays. No better way to spend them than with the people who have supported us over all these years.”

Alice Cooper will be the special guest at all of the newly added concerts; he’s already at most of the previously announced North American dates. All of the new performances will be held in arenas so that Motley Crue can treat fans to their full live production.

“The indoor production is f**king insane!” drummer Tommy Lee tells Rolling Stone in a new interview. “You need a full-on roof to mount the ‘Cruecifly’ drum rollercoaster, because it actually flies out over the audience about 200 feet to the very back of the arena!”

Rolling Stone reports that the indoor shows this year will include a new feature called “The Crue’s Nest,” a platform located at the opposite side of the venue from the stage that lifts the band and some lucky fans up at during a special point in the concert.

Motley Crue’s Final Tour is still slated to wind down with a three-show late-December stand at the Staples Center in the band’s hometown of Los Angeles, wrapping up with a New Year’s Eve concert.

Tickets for the many of the new shows go on sale to the general public this Friday, April 24, at 10 a.m. local time. Pre-sale tickets will be available starting Thursday, April 23, at 10 a.m. Visit www.motley.com for more details.
