CanAM's Personal Top 10

Recommended Posts

I Love, love, love, your PTT, CanAm! I do believe we have similar taste in music. I'm having a hard time deciding on which 10 to use. Jenny's PTT made me want to dance, and this PTT makes me want to get in the car and crank up the tunes on a nice drive...

A couple of the videos are listed under the wrong song, just got scrambled up a bit I think.. :P Not sure which ones, but I can go back to find out when I get a chance..

Very nice list!

Thanks, Laurie. You, Ron and I are all about the same age (give or take 3 or 4 years) and we grew up with a lot of the same music so that probabably explains why we have similar tastes in music. I loved your selections as well.

I have a fairly eclectic taste in music so I have included some good old rock and rollers and some quieter tunes that represent my more contemplative side. My taste in music was also fairly heavily influenced by songs that my parents listened to. For this list, I avoided well known songs by popular artists, even though I love them. Part of the fun of belonging to Songfacts is the chance to discover new (to me, at least) artists. Some of the artists I've "discovered" on Songfacts whose songs are now on my I Pod are Fleet Foxes, Alana Del Rey, The Outlaws, Sugar Ray, Passenger and Camel.

I'm looking forward to a list from Ron.

Sorry that some of the videos are mixed up. The Jeff and Mychael Danna song is from an album called a Celtic Tale. Both men have composed music for a variety of film and television productions. The Mary Hopkin song was written by Ralph McTell but I like Ms. Hopkins'version better. I'm sure the Lighthouse song is available on youtube somewhere. They were the Canadian equivalent of Chicago.

I don't think I can do a PTT for myself. Stupid Youtube doesn't work for me & I can't copy or share links from my gaming app. I made a list but it could just be used as future selections for weekly Top Tens.

Still looking forward to hearing all of the other Fishies tunes, though!! :headphones:

If you pt me your list of songs, Ray, I can try to set up youtube links for all of them.

Sounds good!

I'll go last seeing as you're busy with FBB as well. That way you can take your time with it. Just grabbing a few links here & there in spare time or whatever.
