Costellogirl75
Bands Reunited begins again tonight on VH-1. The bands possibly reuniting are: Haircut 100 (tonight) New Kids On The Block ABC The English Beat I admit I am such a nostalgia geek that I am really looking forward to seeing NKOTB, but, I think it's a shameless ploy, given that Jordan Knight is one of the "stars" participating in the surreal life 3. MindCrime
Yes, they need to select a more memorable band that people actually listen too, instead of these forgotten one hit wonders and such from the 80's. I mean does anybody actually remember who Haircut 100 is or their song Love plus One?
Aisha
um...no, they don't ring a bell
Tenacious_Peaches
I mean does anybody actually remember who Haircut 100 is or their song Love plus One? I do...I loved them. They had another fairly popular song called Boy Meets Girl. Of course, I am an 80s nerd. I watched the NKOTB Bands Reunited. I won't tell what happened...but the show is only 1/2 hour long. Wasn't Boy Meets Girl also a band that sang that "Waiting for a Star to Fall" song? I remember it coming out in 1988 I think. It was on the MTV Top 20 countdown right around the same time as "Don't Worry Be Happy" & UB40's version of Red Red Wine.

MindCrime
I believe you are correct, sir. You'll receive a year's supply of Turtle Wax and a case of Rice-a-Roni... Wow that's what I've always wanted, I was expecting a compilation of discs though. For some odd reason they always award something obscure, such as Rice-a-Roni or Turtle Wax as a door prize on game shows. I wonder if it's really just a plug. Tenacious_Peaches
That Rice-a-Roni might soak up some of that leftover liquor from last night, Mindcrime. DON'T YOU HATE IT WHEN PEOPLE YELL WHEN YOU HAVE A HANGOVER? ::
MindCrime
DON'T YOU HATE IT WHEN PEOPLE YELL WHEN YOU HAVE A HANGOVER? Yes! especially when my boss does it. Does that actually work? (with the rice) I usually eat bread or pretzels, because it absorbs the alcohol, and then wash it down with water.
