Farin
hey, Ray... if you like that song, the chances are good that you could like this band too Ein Kompliment ~ Sportfreunde Stiller (don't pay attention to the video ) if one wants to put it this way, then you're the goal of a long journey the perfection of the best method in calm moments silently the whitecap of the wave of elation up the hill my impulse and drive By the way, I just wanted to tell you that you're the greatest thing for me and to make sure if you're feeling the same for me (same for me) if one wants to put it this way, then you're my Chill-out-area my holidays in the whole year my candy section in the supermarket the solution when something's not that easy so precious that you'll save it gladly and so beautiful that you'll never want to miss it... Rayzor
Good tune Martin! Too bad they made a crappy video I think I still like Ich Roque better than Ein Kompliment. A little heavier Better video too!
Rayzor
By the way, thanks for putting up translations of the lyrics. I don't mind if I don't understand anything, I just like the music. And in the case of Virginia Jetzt I like the videos! Funny bunch...
Farin
it's a fan video, not the original one (that isn't a very good one either though) and here I assumed you never heard of them before Ich Roque is indeed a cool song I don't know if you got the pun in it: "Ich rocke" means "I Rock" and the song is how everyone, from a Karaoke singer to fans in a stadium claim that statement for themselves when in reality only one person really has the right to make this statement: Roque Santa Cruz, a footballer from Bayern München (like "I, Roque")
Rayzor
That's a good one. I understood the "I Rock" title, but that's about it. Don't worry about assuming I've never heard of bands before, because I usually only have ever heard 1 song from most European bands. Like Wir Sind Helden I had only ever heard "Guten Tag" (which my roomate helped me translate: she's Dutch) because it was on a soundtrack for a football/soccer video game I had. Rayzor
I noticed her other videos are of her in black hair, I was kinda thrown off. But the song i put up is more upbeat than her other stuff. At least now I know I'm not the only one surprised by the blonde hair!
