MindCrime
In the beginning, technology was very hard fraught amongst developing civilized people, but the intelligence rate was nothing that it is today. They started out with sticks & stones & had to create necessities based on that. Why didn?t electricity take until the 18th century? Couldn?t it have been possible to do something before hand? It seems that technical welfare has declined, but if you look into the expansion of the computer industry, we?ve advanced much further than taken credit for. MuzikTyme
Intelligence, IMHO, has zero to do with technology. Insight is the purest form of intelligence and it has been around as long as thought. We are where what we make takes from what we are. This is not intelligent. Uncle Joe
Ahhh, you mean they don't write 'em like they used to? They do actually. It's just that the crap that the masses elevate to popularity obscures much of the real genius today. You may have to look a little longer and harder to find it, but there's lots of quality out there. As for the "toys'...look at the one we're using right here with which to communicate. Amazing, isn't it?
MuzikTyme
Yes, my previous statements were the ultimate contradiction given my addiction for the computer. I am aware of how ironic it is though and it is truly amazing.
